Company and hospital service

Companies

As the largest and oldest poison control centre in Germany, we have extensive expertise in the dangers posed by industrial and domestic products of all kinds. We provide you with information as an expert partner in the management of such dangers.

According to GefStoffV, the REACH regulation or other regulations, you may be required to provide an emergency number on your safety data sheets. You may also want to provide your customers with an emergency number regardless of legal requirements. Consider whether it is worth the expense to operate your own emergency call number 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. You can minimise the expense with our help. We would be happy to send you a non-binding offer.

Sending product information/safety data sheets

Please send us your product information/safety data sheets in digital form (e.g. CD, USB stick) by mail or preferably by e-mail or cloud service.

Data protection

Our employees are subject to medical confidentiality as well as the strict privacy policy of the state of Berlin. In addition, the confidentiality of your company information in our facility is guaranteed by additional technical and organisational measures.

Clinics

The Charité Poison Control Centre is staffed 24 hours a day and can be reached by telephone for emergency counselling in case of poisoning. The consultations are free of charge for all hospitals, medical practices and other medical institutions from the states of Berlin and Brandenburg.

For institutions from the rest of Germany and from abroad, a fee is charged for consultation. In addition to itemised invoicing, we offer these institutions an option to conclude an annual subscription at a favourable flat rate based on call volume. Calls from contract partners are prioritised in the event of increased call volume.
